The Information Technology has a long and distinguished reputation of excellence in the areas of systems, software and theory. The Softwarer engineers are the entrepreneurs employed in high-tech companies, creating jobs and improving the quality of life. The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn play a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability, besides career. Hence on behalf of our Information Technology Department, I welcome all of you to HIET, Kaithal.Along with academic knowledge HIET also trains its Engineers to face the challenges in life by providing many value added courses to enhance their career prospects. The department is having well equipped air-conditioned laboratories with well established WI -FI network under the control of high potential servers with server side software like windows 2003 server and Linux Server. Important laboratories in the department are: Data Structures; C Programming; Database Management Systems; Internet Fundamentals; Operating Systems; Object Oriented Programming.This branch of engineering produces engineers who can serve in the industries like: software development, electrical & electronics companies, and research organizations.
